Ursa is a different kind of dungeon. It's an event dungeon, where the prize is not exp/jp, but gen points.
Getting to ursa
Go to any town, find the Ursa teleporter and if Ursa is open, then you can enter Ursa dungeon (1000 rupee entry fee). Every hour, ursa will open for 15 minutes. After entering, you can make a party (If you were in a party before you entered, your party will be disbanded/ you leave party after entering.) by find a big purple hand, and clicking on it, you can make your party. You can choose the number of people in the party (4, 6, or 8 people). After 15 minutes, Ursa will close, and then a 5 minute timer will start. Your party can start buffing, or, if you haven't, you can make a party. After the timer is finished, you will instantly teleport to the Ursa dungeon. You then have 25 minutes to get 3000 points.
Gen points
Gen points are sort of like rupees. They are used to buy items from the gen point vendor. The total gen points you get in one run depends on your amount of points. The lower your points are the lower gen points you will get. Gen points are counted inside a card each player will get if they complete ursa with 3000 or more points. The card adds up all your gen points total for that one character. Even if you have alts, each one will get their own card. The card cannot be traded or placed in WH. I don't think you can sell items from the gen point vendor for more gen points. So no refunds.
Gen point card
Epic 6: As of epic 6, all quests (That I know of anyway. Exceptions are repeatable quests such as Ewan's quest) give gen points (And a gen point card if you don't have one) based on the quest reward.
10 instances of Ursa
There's 10 instances of Ursa. They are divided up by your lvl. Also, the ursa monster's lvl are varied depending on the instance (Chart below). I. Lvl 1 to 34 II. Lvl 35 to 49 III. Lvl 50 to 64 IV. Lvl 65to 79 V. Lvl 80 to 94 VI. Lvl 95 to 109 VII. Lvl 110 to 124 VIII. Lvl 125 to 139 IX. Lvl 140 to 154 X. Lvl 155 to 170

Monsters in Ursa
There are 4 monsters in Ursa, and 1 boss (Making 5). The easiest to kill are the cubs and elders, which give the least amount of point (1). The 2nd easiest is the guards, which give 5 points. The matriarch give 10 points and are the hardest to kill (Aside from boss). The Boss is just like a [*] field boss, but just a little harder to kill. It does a lot more dmg, and can give fear for 5 seconds. The boss gives 150 points. Now, you must understand, all the bears in the dungeon (Aside from boss) are extremely easy to kill (Like 1/3 as strong as field mobs). They give very little exp and JP, and don't drop anything. They also do little dmg. You can see the chart below where they're located.
The Point System in Ursa
As you enter ursa, you will notice on the bottom right side of your screen, a box then shows the time left, your number of kills, and the number of points the party has currently gained. You must get 3000 points or more to get any gen points. I believe the amount of gen points you gain is your points divided by 10, and then an additional amount depending on the Ursa instance. So, if you get 3000 points, you would get 300 gen points plus a bonus. The bonus usually is around 60-180 gen points (This is my theory) . Keep in mind, you have to get 3000 points to get any gen points, if you get 2999, you get 0 gen points. Also, the maximum amount of points you can get is 6000, and the maximum amount of gen points you can get in one run is 780 (But you have to be a high lvl to get that much bonus. 125+ i think). If you die in Ursa, you lose all your points. This doesn't mean your party loses points, it just means you alone will likely get 0 gen points (Unless you can get 3000 points AFTER you die. Even if you have 3000 before you die). And remember, if you die, you still lose exp. Once you get 6000 points, the party will disband and you will can teleport back to lobby. Getting 6000 points gives an amount of gen points that varies between instance. - The first 4 instances give 660 gen points per 6000 points - 5th-7th instances give 720 gen points per 6000 points - the last 3 instances give 780 gen points per 6000 points.
Here's a map of Ursa Cavern with the ursa monster's places and points they give.

A Tip
If you own a high level bp (60+. The higher the better.), and if you have an alt that's lower then 34 (But high enough to kill something. I recommend 25+) then you can go to ursa, and take as much aggro as you can, let pixie heal you with lvl1 heal, letting her take aggro, then you can kill really fast (1 by 1). Make sure bp has warrior armor. Don't give pixie staff, give it mace or axe. You're a low lvl, you will do crap, but pixie would do alot of dmg. (Thats right, a tank, healer, and a dd in 1). You can do the same thing with angel (If you can get your hands on one. It'd be alot better tank and dd.)
Keep in mind, its a lot easier to make a party when you're a lower lvl. You can also ask your friends to go on their alts. And SPREAD OUT! Kill matriarch, and guards. One person go for the Mom. I once made almost 500 gen points doing this strategy, and i only had 4 in party. And it was our first try. We didn't spread out till 13 minutes were left. We could've made alot more. If you can get a party of 8, all with high lvl pets, you might actually make 6000 points.
Here's 7 spots that are good. If you can make 8 people, go for cubs or something.

Here's pics of the bears.
