The Hunt Is On

The trail was only minutes old. Korin the Hunter grinned. He would have his prey yet. Beckoning to his faithful Pantera, he silently loped down the mountain trail after his quarry. He had begun his hunt hours earlier, just as the sun was rising over the Palmir mountains. Now it was quickly fading into evening, and he dared not wander these mountains after dark.

He wasn’t thinking about the time, though. He could hunt for days or weeks or longer if it meant taming the legendary Kentauros.

Now, following its trail through the rocky terrain, he knew he almost had it. He rounded a rock and gazed into a narrow canyon. There it was! Majestic and strong, the Kenta galloped among the rocks. Korin raised his bow and took aim.

Thunk! Thunk! Two arrows landed in the Kenta’s flank, and the creature roared in pain. Korin gaped in astonishment. Those weren’t his shots! Someone else was here!

The Kenta lurched into a run, but another arrow came whistling down into the canyon and impacted its leg. The Kenta stumbled and looked wildly for its attacker, but another flurry of arrows hit it and it cried out one last time before collapsing to the ground.

Korin looked around, but could see no sign of the other archer. Who was the mystery bowman? Then a shadow crossed over him, and he looked up.

There she was, seemingly a beautiful woman at first glance, but adorned with large, brightly feathered wings. Her legs were not human, but were that of a bird of prey. Korin could not believe it at first, that a woman with such lovely features and beautiful plumage could down a Kentauros so easily, but the longbow in her hands revealed that she was indeed the killer.

The winged woman landed next to the Kenta’s body. Her skin glowed golden in the light of the setting sun. She looked towards Korin. He shivered as he met her gaze. Her eyes held no emotion, no warmth, and no light. Her eyes were the eyes of death.

She raised her bow. Korin turned and ran. The hunt was on.

Skills

Twin Shot

Rapidly fires two arrows at the target for increased damage.

Crippling Arrow

Fires a crippling arrow at the target, dealing damage and slowing its movement speed.

Paralyzing Arrow

Fires a paralyzing arrow at the target, dealing damage and stunning it.

Triple Shot

Rapidly fires three arrows at the target for massive damage.

Blood Rain

Rains arrows on the target and nearby enemies. Deals huge damage and decreases P. Atk and P. Def.

Unity: Harpy

Increase one's and tamer's P. Atk speed.

Creation: Harpy's Potion

Creates a consumable potion. When the potion is used, it gives the player a 1 hour buff that increases Physical Attack Speed.
